I know the route that Guitar Ted has selected will test the riders this year not to make it a challenge to win the race but to simply make the cutoff times to finish the race. Due to the soft trail conditions, the bikers will have a new Route this year. I'll be publishing it soon (couple hours). It will consist of ONLY high traffic snow machine trails (Heritage Trial) supplemented by low volume county gravel roads. Looks like all the snow but that on Heritage Trail will be gone by Thursday (first day with forecasted temperatures below freezing). Not to worry, over a week and a half to go… tonight I ride the rollers. Peace!

Well, I guess I’ll need to renege on my statement that you won’t need studded tires for Triple D. The weather has turned warm and the snow has softened up. I’ve made all my Arrowhead training rides searches for alternate routes for Triple D, in doing so, I believe I’ll be able to have a challenging & fun course no matter what the weather conditions are. My five plus hour ride started at 10 PM
