Went out for a 5 hour ride with complete Arrowhead gear setup (bag, tent, pad, extra clothes, repair parts, food, water, stove & gas, GPS, etc.
Bike and Rider = 225 lbs!
Rider only = 159 lbs (shoes and all)... You do the math (remember it's a carbon bike).
Will post picture tomorrow.
Temp = -8dF
Wind = NW @ 41 MPH
Wind-chill = -42 dF

Go Lance GO! Go LANCE GO! WOOO HOOO!
225-159=66lb bike and gear - 28lb bike = 38lb gear. Doesn't sound too bad. Where's most of your weight, food? I'm assuming that doesn't include the weight of a hydration pack/bottles or water?

Thanks, Tim'o
Dennis, Food was a good 5 lbs, -25 sleeping bag is 6 lbs, mat 1 lbs, tent 3, extra clothes 4, repair items (tubes, co2, tools, etc.) 4 lbs, stove & fuel 2 lbs, knife, and lots of other minor items.
Yes, it does include filled camel back (riderweight) & bottles. I only weight 153 lbs.
Hmm ~26lbs of essentials and 13lbs of minor items? Maybe alittle bit of weight trimming to be done, but not much. My karma would let me get away with co2s.
I really dig that frame bag/fuel tank, I'm gonna have to get a set of those for the summer gravel enduros.

Skis are waxed, gear list checked twice. I'm as ready as I'm going to get. What's the plan for going up? Let me know at 515-232-0322. See you soon.
